The working of the Treasury is divided into following sections. 

1) Administrative Section:

The section deals with the establishment matters and Administration of the Treasury and Sub-treasuries under the Control.

2) Audit Section:

Various drawing and disbursing officers use to present their bills at the treasury counters, for its payment. There are 250 Drawing and Disbursing Officers, drawing their claims from the District Treasury and Sub-treasuries in the District. Averagely Seven thousand Bills received monthly for the payment. The bills so received are being audited on the same day of its receipt or the next day, bills if they are in order as per rules are being passed and the cheques for payment are kept ready for delivery at the delivery counter.

3) Pension Section:

The District Treasury is making the payment of pension of 9000 pensioners of the State Govt. and of the other State Govt., who opted their pension payment form Treasury. Most of the Pensioners used to draw their pension through Banks and some of the pensioners are drawing their pension by Money Order, with the own cost.
